When to use
The breadcrumb can be used to help users to reveal their current page location and trace the path back to their original landing point. Use the breadcrumb only if there is a lot of content that is organized in a hierarchical manner.
When to consider an alternative
If there isn't a lot of content in your page, for example in a landing page context.
